We here at Aerotek believe that we have reached a milestone. It has come to our attention throughout our short spanned life, that the label is starting to gain traction among the up and comers in the underground dance music scene, and they are more than willing to take part on the Aerotek flight. These are exciting times, especially with our 27th release here as we welcome you Los Angeles native, Axkan! The talent behind this EP titled 'Detachment' is astounding, and we, quite honestly are surprised and humbled about how this EP has come to life. Axkan has been watching us for quite a bit, and decided to reach out to us during the release of his friends, Complicit's 'Broken Symmetry' EP. Axkan, who has had artists such as Luis Flores and Komprezzor remixing his tracks, has quite the track record, so when we came into contact with him, we were jumping with excitement. 'Detachment' we feel is going to be the new chapter in the Aerotek book, taking one step closer in solidifying our position here in the underground music industry.

We haven't even announced the remixers to this release here yet, but I'm sure you already know quite well who they are. Two Axkan originals (Detachment and Totem) and remixes from (drum roll please..) Anthony Jimenez, who has released tracks on the mighty Blank Code label out of Detroit, Chicago's own Komprezzor who has been tearing up the scene with his high octane tracks and remixes, and last but not least, another Chicago based producer, Tunnel, how has been turning heads also with his production talent and mysterious image. This 5 track EP packs a fierce punch, and we feel is the turning point in our early career. We personally are totally digging Totem, both the original and Komprezzor remix, but early feedback suggests that Detachment and its remixes are just as good, as everyone has their own taste that they enjoy.

We are quite excited of the turnout and expect nothing but great things in the future for our label and the exposure it has received. Continue to enjoy our sounds and spread the word about what we're doing!! Cheers and always choose #techno!
